The Nutcracker - Album - Claude Clément
It's Christmas Eve. While the other children discover fabulous toys, Clara receives only a funny little nutcracker. That evening, unable to fall asleep, the young girl gets up and returns to the living room, which suddenly seems very strange to her... When midnight strikes, the room is suddenly invaded by mice. Immediately, the valiant little nutcracker brandishes his sabre and, while the other toys come to life in turn, takes command of his funny army to do battle. Victorious, the Nutcracker transforms into a magnificent prince who will take Clara to an enchanted kingdom... At the end of the book, a double-page spread rich in anecdotes puts into perspective this adaptation into an album of the Nutcracker ballet as legendary as Giselle, Swan Lake or Coppélia.
